This zinnia seed is an open-pollinated mix of Dawn Creek Farm and Floret Originals parent plants.
Color: I culled the large singles and brightly colored flowers as soon as they appeared. The remaining shades were a variety of peach, light apricot, buttery yellow, buff, soft pink, silvery pink, and soft lavender. A few of the floret varieties have an ombre effect which intensifies the longer you let the bloom mature on the plant.
Form & Size: 80% of the plants I grew were doubles. I like the small singles so those got to stay ;) The Dawn Creek varieties have more of a frilly/cactus form. Blooms from this mix had a range of sizes, from 1" to 4" blooms with most flowers being 2"-3".
